setting up my account

Hi! I’ve just bought a sim only and is switching to ID Mobile from EE, my phone is currently unlocked however to switch to id mobile my sim is getting delivered on Friday and have been given an id mobile number on my invoice, do I use that number to create an account for id mobile or wait until I put my new sim in?

If you get a PAC from EE now, it’s valid for 30-days. 

Maybe better to wait until you’ve got your new iD SIM card and your “My iD Account” is working, before giving your PAC to iD, @Millie Mann.

Once iD do the switch they arrange for your EE account to be closed.

Probably better to wait for a few days after completion of switch from EE to iD, before trying to register for your “My iD Account” online, @Millie Mann

Perfect thank you - with this, once my new ID SIM card comes I should leave EE then to receive my pac code to pop into the switch for ID Mobile?

You can instead use the iD Live Chat service to submit your PAC, @Millie Mann

Tell the 24/7 iD chatbot you want to “talk to a person” - which may need repeating a few times.

Only issue is that the iD Live Chat advisers work between 9am - 8pm on weekdays (and 9am - 6pm at weekends).
