setting up my my phone

I have recently purchased a monthly contract iPhone 16. I am currently using my number on a Vodafone sim but want to transfer over to the new phone when im trying to change over and use the pac code it is saying it’s already set up to ID Mobile but it isn’t. 
can you help thank you
