I’ve switched over to ID today and received a text to advise everything has been completed and my number had been moved over. Issue is my old sim is still active with my number I wanted to bring over to ID and the ID sim is active with the ID provided number when I’ve switched before, the old service disconnects straight away. Any thoughts or am I being impatient with it being switch day.

UK number transfers don’t happen immediately on the switching date, @Lightwest25.If your ‘old’ provider’s SIM is still active then either iD have not started working on your number transfer, or something has gone wrong.Might be best to web chat with iD customer service regarding your switch.The iD advisers work until 8pm on weekdays (6pm at weekends).Tell the 24/7 iD chatbot that you’d like to “talk to a person”.
