I have purchased an esim and received the QR. I’ve tried to switch using the PAC code provided by my previous provider but I keep getting an error message. I need my old number. What is the problem?

Hi @Simon Lipson  thanks for getting in touch.

Are you using the correct transaction number? This will begin with a ‘4’ and is on your welcome email from us.

Are you able to share a screen shot of the error you are getting?

Hi Sian

Thanks for your reply.

I copied and pasted the transaction number (Information Removed) so I know it’s right. The problem appears to be with the PAC. See attached. FYI, I haven’t used the QR for the esim yet.

Probably best to resolve this issue by using the iD online Live Chat service, to speak to a customer adviser @Simon Lipson

The advisers work until 8pm on weekdays and 6pm on weekends - just tell the 24/7 chatbot you’d like to “talk to a person”.

I tried that before. If only it worked! It’s stuck and there’s nowhere for me to start the conversation. It doesn’t scroll or move in any direction.

See attached.

This has just appeared as my support ID 7281209137242480246 . But who the hell is my administrator and how do I contact them?

Try using a different browser or clear cache/cookies.

Why would you be so stupid as to post your mobile number and PAC code on a public forum? The whole world can see this information and now just about anyone can hijack your number!

Hi @Simon Lipson

Thanks for getting back to us.

I have gone ahead and edited your posts to remove the information.

Please do try to avoid posting any account specific or personal details on the public thread as we can always offer a private message to take these if needed.

Are you still experiencing the issue with the port? If so, please do let us know and we can arrange to send over a private message for further assistance :)

Thanks,

Natalie
