Turning system messages off when I am on the phone

I am new to iD mobile and have just set up my voicemail message. I also recorded my name for the System greeting. I now realise that a message will play when someone tries to get through to me when I am on the phone. I don’t want this, I just want them to hear the engaged tone.  How can I turn this off?  Very grateful for any advice. Thanks.

Suspect  this is a feature of the cloud based voicemail service used by iD Mobile, @Di2000. 

They probably can’t change this behaviour - the voicemail system is provided and managed by Three UK on behalf of iD Mobile.
