Wifi calling stopped working after number port; Pixel 6


Hi - I joined ID mobile last Monday. All seemed to be fine. Wifi calling working happily. Then on Friday I ported over my old number from EE. Ever since then wifi calling has stopped working. I have a Pixel 6. Android is up to date. The SIM settings are all correct. I’ve rebooted the phone a few times. Occasionally wifi calling works for a moment after reboot, but more often it doesn’t work at all. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi ​@fsharrock  sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with this.

Do you happen to have the old EE eSIM still on the device at all? If so, you will need to delete this.

Can you check Wi-Fi calling is on?

  1. Open the Phone app .
  2. Tap More  And then Settings.
  3. Tap Calls.
  4. Tap Wi-Fi calling.

Please let us know how you get on.

Hi Siân. Thanks for getting back to me.

I removed the EE SIM after the number ported. Just the idmobile esim onboard now. That setting is turned on.
