just To say hello to everyone , hopefully we can help each other solve some problems without having to ring up the call centres , I’m quite tech savvy so hopefully can help out . Saying that , this is my first post so hopefully in right section 🤔

Hello All , mines a works phone ... crappy windows Nokia thing but I sort out the families phones so look after a couple of ID mobile contracts on different iPhone models.

Hi all

I've just joined ID and I use an LG G3. I know it's old, but it still does everthing I need, most importantly, G4.
I've been quite happy with 3GB from my present supplier, but I needed to change - so I may change some of the things I do now with the more generous, data that's available.

Ironically, the only time I got close to my limit was when I needed to use tethering staying with someone who had no WiFi, but a great 4G connection. If that happens again, I'll look seriously at the MiFi option - it would be worth it at current rates.

Wanted a nice cheap one, so looked for some good reviews and went for a Xiaomi Mi A1. It seems good so far.

Hi, I've just joined iD after many years with a different mobile provider. Can't believe how easy it was to switch and so quickly too! Looking forward to reading some of the posts and maybe picking up some tips ☺️. Angela

Hi, I have a Samsung galaxy and on returning from a trip abroad I have no network available. ‘ not registered on network’ I can’t phone or text. I’ve tried a reset and have removed the SIM card twice. On both occasions I was able to phone out once before it reverted to no network. I have internet connection but no phone usage. Any ideas ?  Maggie

Hi @Maggie Bowdler,

I am sorry to hear this. Which phone are you using?

Please go to the network settings in the meantime and manually search for a network operator to see if this helps the situation. Connect to iD Mobile when the option appears.

Hi Ryan, thanks for your reply. I have been told that there’s a network outage in my area which hopefully explains the problem . I go on network settings and Id wasn’t  appearing as an option. It’s all working now, so fingers crossed everything is back to normal. If not, I’ll be back for more advice! Cheers
