What is international texting?
International texting is when you send an SMS from the UK to a foreign mobile number. This is different from Roaming (which is using your phone while you're away).
International texts aren't included in your monthly plan. You'll be charged a standard rate for each message sent.

Top tip: Apps like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Apple's iMessage (blue bubbles) use the internet, not SMS. If you're connected to Wi-Fi, sending messages to friends abroad via these apps is completely free!
Does it cost me to receive a text from abroad?
No. If someone texts you from abroad while you're in the UK, you won't be charged a penny.
