Can somebody please explain the following sentence on the Open Data Policy page: "If you do use more than your EU roaming data threshold, you'll have no additional charges in the first month."
Does it mean the threshold doesn't apply if I'm abroad for less then a month?
Tried to get some answers by calling ID, but 2 advisers I spoke to have never heard of ID's Open Data Policy...

Open data policy question

Hello @aa111 ,
I couldn't find the exact bit of text on the page but realised that it only shows in the blue box if you're on a plan that's subject to the Open Data Policy.
Since the charges are not applied in the first month, then being abroad for less than a month would not result in you incurring these charges.
Hope that answers your question, but if you do have any more, please let us know.

If you do use more than your EU roaming data threshold, you'll have no additional charges in the first month. But the second month you use more than your EU roaming data threshold, we'll take the following action:Note: your EU roaming data threshold refreshes along with your allowances each month.
- If you reach 80% of your EU data roaming threshold, we'll send you a warning text, giving you a chance to slow down.
- If you reach 100% of your EU data roaming threshold we'll send you another text message - to make you aware of the situation, and give you a second chance to stop data roaming and avoid charges.
- If you exceed the threshold, we'll apply an additional charge of 0.76p per MB.
Since the charges are not applied in the first month, then being abroad for less than a month would not result in you incurring these charges.
Hope that answers your question, but if you do have any more, please let us know.
