Sim not supported

Trying to set up sim in iPhone and it's coming up with a message saying sim not supported and I should request it to be unlocked by the network provider can you help please

Hi @Rosie,

If the phone has been supplied by us and/or has become locked to our network, we can put in a request for this to be unlocked so that you can use the phone with a SIM card of your choice.

Have you previously used the iPhone with a different network SIM at all?
Which model of iPhone are you using?
