many thanks for any help on the following…

So I have ID SIM card unlimited data plan (A) with phone number X

I have another SIM card with limited data (B) and phone number Y (not from ID)

I would like to do the following….

  1. Swap X onto B (i.e phone number from unlimited data to the limited data SIM card).
  2. Retain the unlimited plan with a different phone number - and I dont care what number it is.

What are the best steps to effect this please with no cost, and maximum ease.

Many Thanks

Ian Hunter

Hello @ianhunterpersonal,

Unfortunately, the situation you’ve described isn’t one that’s possible with us.

When number X is ported out onto plan B, the plan A would be cancelled as it’s left our network.

It’s not possible to replace it say with a random number then allow you to swap out the number etc.

When a number is ported, that would cancel the old contract.

you can swap X onto plan B and lose plan A, or you can swap Y onto plan A and lose X.

Hope that answers your question.

Mohammed
