Change my number

I took out a phone contract with ID mobile 2 years ago, ID don’t allow you to renew your contract early so 1 month before it was due to expire i took out a new contract with them. My old contract has now expired and i am wanting to change my phone number on the new contract to the old number, is this possible and if so how do i go about doing this please?

Thanks

You can do so by porting-out and porting-in, @lewis123lerfoot.

  1. Get a PAC from iD, for the number you want to keep.
  2. Give your iD PAC to another service provider.
  3. Wait until the number, you want to keep, is working properly with the new service provider.
  4. Get a PAC for the number you want to keep and give this to ID, to use with your ‘new’ iD contract.

Hi @lewis123lerfoot  I can confirm the information given by @andewhite  is correct, this is otherwise known as a triangular port.

I hope this helps.
