I see quite a few posts about offers of upgrades and not seeing the models people want.
It must be difficult for a phone company with hundreds of thousands of customers to know what deals, models, brands each and every individual customer would like to see in their offers list.
I am not sure how easy it would be but I had a thought about a solution, what about a flag system? Each customer can mark their top 3 favourite model phones from a list of possible upgrades with an optional free text box, if your favourite phone is not listed, then you choose your ideal price range, for example £40 - £70 per month £0 - £100 upfront cost - whatever.
This can be sent as an online request or pinged on the app like 3 months before your plan upgrade date, that way I.D can then plan contract offers based on what you would like as a customer, based on models that are available at the time of your individual plan upgrade. The customer gets more tailored deals and offers (ideally making the customer happier) and I.D probably get more contract upgrades (making them more money - roll on big business) 😊
So, it's not a perfect solution but I thought it seemed like an alright idea, what are your thoughts?
Any other ideas?
Civil discussion only if you'd be so kind 😊
