My new plan has not been activated on my phone.

I’ve changed my plan (sim card) from 1GB to 12GB with unlimited calls & texts.

According to iD the new plan was due to kick in yesterday, instead the old plan carried on.

iD have emailed thanking me for refreshing my plan, the new plan is registered on my iD account but it is is not activated on my phone. 

I’ve done all the usual things like switching my phone off and on but no change.

I’ve tried chatbox a couple of times and nearly lost the will to live as it just kept asking me to express what I was asking differently.

A 2 minute  conversation with a human might sort out the problem but that perhaps that is an ask too far.

Any help /other suggestions would be very welcome.

As it has been a couple of days since you last posted, can you please confirm if there has been any changes since then?

If not, can you please confirm if the app has updated to reflect your new plan?

Fraid nothing has changed, the new plan has not been activated on my phone, The app is showing the new plan, which it has done from the start.

I do hope you can help.

As the app has updated, can you please confirm what is indicating that the plan has not yet changed on the handset?

Hi Natalie

The app is showing that 11.5 GB have been used of the new 12GB plan and that it will renew in 23 days.

My phone is showing 311 MB used of  the old 1GB plan and there are 23 days left.

So nothing has changed, the new plan has not been activated on my phone.

Is it possible to speak to someone about this or does no one know what’s the matter?

I’m not sure what you mean by activated on your phone, do you mean in your device’s data tracker/saver?

 

If so, that’s something you adjust manually, we have no control over that part.
