Hello. I found a plan on mobile.co.uk for the Samsung a56, a £59 upfront payment and then £14.99 per month (25GB). This offer doesn't come up as a upgrade offer but i'd like it, is it not possible? Or do I need to leave ID and rejoin?

@Sara Esposito-Moore please call the sales team on 02071391397 between 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, and they should be able to help further.

Unfortunately iD Mobile are unlikely to match or better the new customer offer you found online at mobile.co.uk, @Sara Esposito-Moore

If the iD sales team can’t help, and you want the offer from mobiles.co.uk, you’ll need to leave and re-join iD Mobile.

Hello. Thank you, I will leave, do I need to wait for my last day (which is August) to leave?. It does not suprise me but it does sadden me that ID clearly charge existing loyal customers more than anyone looking to join. Up until now, I'd been impressed with ID but we all know that the offer should be open to all.

Hi @Sara Esposito-Moore

New customer deals and upgrade offers are often different, if you aren’t seeing an upgrade offer you’re happy with, we’d recommend calling the sales team on 0207 1391 397.

If you instead wish to leave iD Mobile, assuming you want to take your number elsewhere, you’ll be able to use a PAC code to move your number to your new network and cancel the plan on our side automatically in that process.

You don’t need to wait until any specific day, if you leave before your contracted term ends, you’ll pay for bills through to your contracted term end date. If you leave after, you’ll pay for the time spent on the plan.

Hi, I was going to post a similar question. I was going to upgrade my ID plan to purchase an iphone 14-500gb £24.99 with £9 upfront. However, there are other suitable plans with ID from carphone warehouse for 10GB for £22.99. This would suit me but not available on upgrade. Would I have to leave and join ID afresh to get that offer? I thought the cheapest would have been via ID direct?

Like most UK mobile networks, iD appear to reserve the ‘best’ offers for people joining iD Mobile, @grother

Why did you originally join iD?

Anyway, you can always discuss your upgrade options with the iD sales team, by calling 020 7139 1397 between 9am - 6pm.

Hey there @grother, as advided by @andewhite, if you wish to discuss upgrades, please call the sales team via the number he’s given during opening hours. If you wish to keep your number and bought a new plan with us, you’d need to complete a triangle port.

Thanks,

Tyler

Hi. I think you will have to leave and rejoin but they have suggested you contact their sales team to see if there's anything they can do to help - it may be worth a go, personally, I think I'm going to leave and probably re-join. Seems a little bonkers, inconvenient for me and creates work for them.
