Hi can you tell me why I can't get an upgrade when I pay my bill every month, this phone I currently have had a smashed screen and I really need a phone for work etc

Welcome to the Community!

The upgrade date that you see is the earliest that you can upgrade.

For handset contracts you can upgrade 60 days before the expiry date but for SIM only contracts you’ll need to wait at least 6 months (subject to eligibility).

Have you checked your upgrade date via the iD Mobile app?
