I am looking to upgrade to a Google pixel 9a and the white colour is out of stock. Do you have any idea when it will be restocked or I will just look to get the phone from another network.

Hi
The only problem you will encounter, if you purchase this model from another network or a private seller (e.g. Ebay), is if VoLTE is not already enable on the handest and the software installed is that of a different provider (to the one you want to connect to) which means you will not be able to get the software update to enable it.
Many do not understand that when phones are sold by networks they have their own software installed on them and unless you are connected to that network you will never get any software updates.
E.g. I got a hand-me-down SG J4+ from my sister that she had purchased from Vodafone. When 3G was turned off and I tried to connect to VoLTE (4G) I was unable to do so, even though it was VoLTE compatible, and couldn’t update the software to enable it (as I was using the THREE network and not Vodafone). It wasn’t until I loaded ‘uncontrolled’ software onto the phone that I was able to get the software update to enable VoLTE as all updates were now sent by Samsung rather than a network provider.
So, if you DO purchase this handset from another network (and wish to use it with iD Mobile) then confirm that it is either 1) already VoLTE enabled or 2) it is not locked to their/any providers software.
Good luck x
