i spoke to live chat today. I’m currently on a sim only and can’t upgrade till August. I am told that when I upgrade that because my plan is £19.99 I would only be able to upgrade to a device of that airtime/data value or less??? That can’t be right????

This is incorrect. 


They said that due to my initial credit check and I’m in a sim only I couldn’t just choose and phone I’d be restricted. And that I wouldn’t qualify for a top end hand set

So once I upgrade to a phone after 6 months… fast forward two years when that contract ends… would I still be bound to the same restrictions on my upgrade in two years? Or can I choose any phone I want after that?
