wheres my order?

I did an upgrade from SIM only to contract phone 2 days ago but have had no confirmation of order/upgrade.  However ID/Carphone Warehouse have taken the £149 upfront phone cost from my bank already?   Absolutely no indication of any new contract pending in my ID account.   When am I getting my new phone?

Can you please check your junk and spam emails for any updates?

I was able to do live chat today and apparently the phone I ordered is out of stock and expected 7 Aug and will be sent out then.   Not impressed to be honest as I should have been informed it was out of stock and given opportunity to chose different model.   Very unimpressed that I never even got an email about this or my new contract.   I now cannot even cancel until the phone is sent out to me.    Will definitely be reconsidering my contract with ID.

I was able to do live chat today and apparently the phone I ordered is out of stock and expected 7 Aug and will be sent out then.   Not impressed to be honest as I should have been informed it was out of stock and given opportunity to chose different model.   Very unimpressed that I never even got an email about this or my new contract.   I now cannot even cancel until the phone is sent out to me.    Will definitely be reconsidering my contract with ID. 

I am having same issues now - Was told to order certain colour, to guarantee  delivery  next day - but now apparently out of stock and not available till over a week later

Finally one of the team, gave a good answer I popped up to Live Chat , and I Spoke to Lifa this afternoon, was going to suggest, changing color , but Lifa who advised color can't be changed as order already processed, which is fair enough - but stock will come in 2/3 days i.e 21/11 - therefore I should expect new device early next week?

Noticed - the phone is off the site now - Which is fair as out of stock but bit of delay to remove :) - Hopefully it comes Tomorrow but still looking at next week

Service is not the best - temped to go else where - Now they stuck on 28/11 like its genic response - is there a reason it takes over a week for stock to stock up.

Thank you for your patience with us. Handset stock can sometimes take longer to arrive due to a few factors. Delivery times depend on supplier availability, high demand, and logistics delays such as customs checks or shipping schedules. In some cases, specific colours or storage options may also be limited, which can extend the wait time.
 

We’re working closely with our suppliers to restock as quickly as possible, and I’m sorry for any inconvenience this delay has caused.

As you can imagine when there a special deals going on or festive period people genuinely spend more. IDMobile can only stock ex amount of any one product. Also if the manufacturers has a high demand for sale's world wide one has to factor in product, shipping etc. Most date's given are an estimate until near the time of restock then an actual date is given.

While this does not help your case as you were expecting to receive your phone at the time of placing your order,  IDMobile maintenance work on their system may well of had an impact on you order also.

As you've posted today the device is back in stock I would call sale's and explain your concerns and ask how soon would I receive my order.

Thanks  - Yes I cancelled this order, and made a new one - With same device / colour I wanted etc - This has now processed - should be here Tomorrow i.e next correspondence im expected is from DPD
