My bundle is ending only a few days after inserting the sim

  • Community Member
Hi, I didn't use my payg sim until a few weeks after purchasing it. Would this matter? I've just input it in my phone, and I'm told that my bundle expires in a few days, giving me 5 days of service when I bought a monthly payg bundle. I purchased on 13.03, it expires 17.03. Surely the bundle should start when activated, not from purchase? Additionally, the data usage has all gone - could this be due to updates for the new-to-me second had phone?

Hi @idme

Bundles are activated automatically upon purchase. You get 30 days from the day you purchased your bundle to use it. It exactly same practice that is used by any other provider like let's say Giffgaff. It is nothing that ID done out of ordinary.

Kind Regards

Hello @idme,

As @Hikari has confirmed. Bundles expire 30-days after purchase and are activated upon purchase. Top-up credit does not expire however, unless the SIM is cancelled due to no usage.

You can always convert credit into a bundle at a later stage.
