New SIM issues following upgrade

I got an upgrade today and registered a new SIM. Data had partially transferred but new phone says No Service - my old SIM seems to work in the new phone but will it stay activated now that I have registered for a new one? Also - how long will apps take to load? They’ve been loading for 2 hours and I can’t see any change. Thanks for your help.

Hello @Sheena,

when you get a new SIM from an upgrade, you need to activate it here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/your-sim-card

 

Once activated, restart your handset and it should work. Activations take up to 2 hours to complete.
