Incorrect data amount showing on the app

Hi there, I've just upgraded and purchased a new SIM-only plan for unlimited calls, unlimited texts and unlimited data. However the iD app says I only have 5GB of data, not unlimited. How can I fix this? Many thanks.

Hey Ness,

I contacted the chat system too a few weeks ago to get to the bottom of it. Turns out the app is just not very good at updating. Whatever new contract you purchased is the plan that’s now in place. The app will show inaccurate figures that can be ignored. For example, I purchased unlimited data on my new contract but the app shows a running tally of used data (out of 5BG) - giving the impression I only have 5BG a month to use. However this tally is always at zero (ie “You used 0 out of 5GB this month so far”). So in effect it’s the same thing. It’s annoying and I wish it just said unlimited, but it can be ignored. The terms of your new contract are the terms you purchased.
