Upgrading a Sim-only plan to a more expensive sim-only plan part way through contract

I am on a sim only plan of 200GB per month, i’m about 6 months through a 12 month contract.

I’d like to change/upgrade it to an unlimited data sim-only plan and i’m happy to pay more and have the 12 month contract length start again. 

In my account it says there are no options when i click on ‘change my plan’, but do ID mobile really not want to accept more money from an existing customer tying them in for another 12 months?

I tried asking on the live chat and after a while they said yes, there is nothing they can do until contract is up apart from buying expensive addon data.

 

I just wanted to check this is correct. as it seems crazy….

It’s strange that you don’t have any plan change options as you would normally see more expensive plan changes whilst still in contract.
