Upgrading from Contract to SIM Only

Hi folks, 

 

just wanted to check something.  My contract is up, and I want to stay with ID, keep my number (that's the important bit) but go to a SIM only plan.

 

If I Upgrade (as in, follow the whole “upgrade your plan” etc and chose a SIM only deal) then my number stays the same and the old plan will end, is that correct?

 

I’m aware that you can’t transfer number between contracts on the same provider normally, but didn’t know if this wasn’t the case when it’s an upgrade (even though I’ll be spending significantly less per month!)

Hi @Mongoosiest 

 

As long as you’re upgrading, you’ll be keeping the same number, account, etc.

 

If you purchase a new plan, this would come with a new number.
