Hi, my contract ends on 05 May 2021,( date of writing this 14/04/2021 ), I want to change to a pay monthly sim only plan while keeping my current mobile number, when should I change to this plan without incurring a fee for breaking my contract. Do I have to wait until after 05 May before changing??, ideally do not want to pay the contract monthly fee and new plan after my contract ends on 05 May.

If you log into the iD app/account in the last 20-days of your contract.
You can click My Account
Upgrade
Then select SIM Only
This will allow you to upgrade your contract to a SIM only plan, retaining the number witho no credit check required as this is an upgrade.
Your plan will update when the SIM is sent out and you can activate it once it arrives to swap over to that SIM.
