Answers required from ID mobile international roaming specialists

I am extremely confused by the information provided by an ID chat and have copied and pasted my questions and answers from ID mobile. Please can someone tell me as to when our country (UK) has changed our country code from 44 to 34. I was advised by Isaiah, an on line chat staff for ID mobile today.

My question was that if I have dial 00-44 to the UK if I call from my mobile when I am in Spain
You at 16:07, Apr 25:
You said that I would have to dial 00-34 before local number
You at 16:07, Apr 25:
I repeated my questions three times and your answers are the same

Isaiah at 16:18, Apr 25:
Yes it will consume of your inclusive minutes and you need to still use your Spain code which is 34. The only reason, why I advised the 34 code was because a fellow customer advised this but I confirmed this with the tech team with you on the line to assure that I am giving your the correct information.

Our policy requires us to listen to customers, when one customer said they can use the 34 to call the UK today

Hello @Frustrated ID customer,

It appears there seems to be some confusion in your recent Live Chat.

Just to better understand your query, are you wanting to know the correct dialling code for calling a UK number when in Spain?

This is +44 (replacing the 0).

For example: The number 07771231231 would look like +447771231233.

If you're trying to call a Spanish number, the code is +34.

Hope this helps.

Thank you Mohammed.

Can you please help me with one question:

When I am in Spain and use my UK ID mobile phone to call in Spain locally, do I still need to dial +34 at the front of a Spainish local number?

Many thanks.

No problem @Frustrated ID customer,

As far as I'm aware, you'll need to add +34 in front of the Spanish number you want to call.

Can you try this and let me know how you get on?
