I’ve had confirmation that porting has been successful but when I call/text it’s showing as ID mobile number and not being recognised as an iPhone by anyone so I can’t imessage iPhone to iPhone?

Hey @Springtime,

We're glad to hear you've ported your number.
There's an issue with iPhones where they don't update the number automatically in iMessage.
This is what causes the issues with sending the messages.

Can you try the following:
1) Try turning off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
2) then restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3) tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct.
4) If it is not correct, please enter the correct number)
5) then turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6) go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under “Start new conversations from:”.

This should resolve the issue you're facing.
I'll mark the post as resolved, however, if this doesn't feel free to let us know and we'll unmark this for you.
