Out of x-files

Just got my new account with iD mobile sorted. Making my first call and I heard a conversation ,faint but there about a lady speaking to a retail shop about temperature of fridge.
The person I was calling had difficulty in hearing me. I terminated the call and tried again and still that lady was still talking about a fridge.
I was using WiFi calling could that be the problem? I haven't used the phone again.

Anyone out there ?

Hello @Mikeimp,

That's a very odd one.
What you're advising sounds like the call was incorrectly routed.

Can you just clarify, were you by any chance in the middle of a number port?
Wondering if the port had any impact on this at all.

If you're still having issues since, please let us know.
I wouldn't believe WiFi Calling to be a culprit here but happy to investigate further if you still incur these calls.

Please keep us updated.

We'll leave the topic open for now, but if you don't experience the issue again, let us know and we'll mark it as resolved and down to a one-off.

Hi Mohammed
Thanks for getting back to me. I suspect that you are right. The day this problem happened it was the day the phone number was being changed over back to the original one using the PAC system. So,perhaps as you say it may have been during a number port.

I will keep an eye on this and come back to you if we experience this again.

Thanks for your help

Mike
