App doesnt remember my name or password even though saved to google password

Hi there,

The app seems to be such a pain,

I can’t login to app using my fingerprint or passcode.

It also never remembers my username and password, even though these are saved to google password a/c

I have a samsung S10, so is a relatively new handset, I don’t have problems with any other app, I though this may be a bug but has been going on for about the last 8 months, I never had a problem before.. It use to run seemlessly, but now is just annoying me, as I never remember my details and have to go and search for login details manually.

Hi there @acheungy 

Unfortunately there had been compatibility issues with the passcode and fingerprint login after a firmware update with Android 10.

Once we’re positive it’s secure to re-add those methods to the app we’ll have them back in place in a forthcoming iD Mobile App update.

We know just how much people like that feature for convenience though, so it’s certainly up there as a priority.
For now, you’ll need to log in using the username and password to access any account either through our website or the iD Mobile App.
