Can’t send pictures

I have a new contract for iPhone 11, unlimited data,  calls & texts. I have set my cap at £0. Is there any way to send pictures as text that isn’t a MMS and chargeable at 30p per picture? Is email the only way - or am I missing something?

Hi @ClarySageDoll,

With an iPhone, if you set up the iMessage feature and then send a message to someone who is also using and iPhone with iMessage then the photo can be sent, free of charge. Other apps to get around this would be to use the WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger apps; all of which are easier than using email to send the photo but the recipient would also need to use the same app.

If you do need to send an MMS as a last resort, you can increase your cap to accommodate the charge.
