I have been doing a check on my bank statement. It showed an iD dd andI have not used an iD sim for as long as I can remember. I have therefore cancelled my direct debit. I have been trying to phone the following numbers:
0901 545 5126 £6 minimum charge and no one to speak with
0800 049 0250 no one to speak with
Tried to log in only top find that as I can’t remember my username, iD have sent a SMS to a phone number I don’t use
I then received a threatening email from their debt collectors for £31.
I have phoned them and they have said they will get someone to contact me.
I would class this as an attempt to ‘not allow’ the customer to leave, even after the contract has been fulfilled………… is this legally/morally questionable?
