unable to receive text messages

I've been on ID for a few months now and now my phone has been unable to receive incoming text messages. I can send texts and receive/send calls but I don't get any incoming texts. I'm also unable to get OTP for my amazon,  Google,  Bank, PayPal account which means I'm unable to access this. I've restarted my phone nothing worked.  Have contacted live chat two times in a row but they're are not helpful my issue has not been resolved.

Thanks for contacting us here and sorry to hear you’re having issues.

Can you clarify for us, is the issue solely relating to OTP messages only or is this affecting all numbers that text you?

I’m aware of sometimes OTP issues happening when customers join and port their number, we can look into this.

But if the issue is affecting all messages, it could be relating to something else.

Have you got any other messaging apps on your device?

In the past a user had a different messaging app and all texts were being sent there instead of the one they mainly use.

 

Which device is this? Are you running Android Messaging from the Google Playstore or your default stock messenger

Its affecting all numbers that text me. I'm using a Samsung galaxy note 9 and I'm using the default messaging service.

There's no error messages. People are sending me texts on their phone but I don't get the reply. They then ask me did you not get my message and I'm like no.

I have sent lots of text messages to family but I do not receive their reply.

Appalling customer service.  My issue has not been fixed. I have been on live chat 4 times now, each time they keeps saying wait 24 - 48 hours and nothing is happening.  I will be leaving ID mobile ASAP.
