When you open up the iDmobile app, there is this message before you login to the app..
“To make call and use Phone State?, allow application to access Phone.
Tap Settings>Permissions and turn on phone? “
Whilst I can use all the facilities of the phone, what is gained by turning this permission on?

The phone state usually refers to the app to know phone number, current cellular network information etc.
It will allow the App to know the handset mobile number and network information. If you don’t wish to enable this you don’t need to.
