Why don't the call minutes and data usage add up correctly on my bills?

I’ve been with iD Mobile on a monthly contract for 4 months now and have noticed that the numbers on my bills never quite add-up correctly: the summary usage totals for call minutes and data volume shown in the “Your allowances” section don’t match the summary totals shown in the “Your invoice breakdown” section. So far it seems that in the “Your allowances” section the total call minutes is always slightly higher than shown in the “Your invoice breakdown” section but the total data volume is always slightly lower (see example image attached below). The differences are not huge (and I still pay the same amount each month) but it seems like a no-brainer that the numbers on the bills should add-up correctly. Plus I keep track of my mobile usage so that I know what I need when I look for the best deals.

How odd, here is one of my bills:

 

I get the impression that this:

Lists the usage from our previous bill and not the bill it’s printed on?

However, the duration doesn’t tally with the call logs on my bills:

Duration: 10m 26s

8 calls listed with a maximum duration of 9m 6s

Hi Will. I can’t say if it does or does not: I don’t find I normally need to monitor my usage during the month. Plus, what would I be comparing the app numbers against?

Let us know if you minutes are not accurate next month. 

Although if you have unlimited minutes it shouldn’t be much to worry about.
