Mobile Data Connection Issues


I am having issues with Mobile Data, i am frequently getting no mobile data connection despite a strong 4G connection being reported by my phone. A cross symbol appears on the signal strength indicator.

A have checked my APN settings and they appear to be correct (see attached screenshots, i do have a connection in my current location!). I have also enabled data roaming to see if that helps, but it makes no difference.

Is this some sort of priority thing with capacity on the Three network?

If this can't be resolved i am afraid i will have to look for an alternative provider as it is becoming very frustrating.

Any advice welcome!

Have you tried the SIM in a different handset to see if it makes a difference?

Have you checked our coverage checker to check the coverage in your area?

I have the Same issue, good signal, can make calls, never any mobile data connection.

checks in lost of locations, in Cardiff, Bristol and Chippenham.

Put a Virgin Sim in the same phone and that works with no issues.

Phone is a Motorola G7 Play.

Is the handset or has the handset ever been able to get data connection?

 

If so, when was it this issue began? Have you tried toggling to 3G to see of that makes a difference?
