Why does my phone say unrecognised number when someone calls me
Any help would be great thanks

It happens to a few numbers know one in particular its been happening for about two weeks I have not adjusted the phone in any way its not a new contract the phone rings a very short time when I answer it it sys the number can't be recognised and cuts off it seems all very strange

If the incoming call shows Unknown or Unknown Caller, the caller's phone or network might be set to hide or block the caller ID for all calls. Have you confirmed with the person calling if they have set their number to be hidden when calling?
