ported number fail

Changed to I'd got pac code and did everything correctly my old supplier has ceased service my I'd is up and running but my requested old number has not ported over its still sending my new I'd number what is going on I need my old number and was told everything has been done correctly but my number I needed to keep has not ported what can I do??

What was the number port date you got from iD Mobile?

Number ports to iD can take up until 10pm on the porting date to complete, which means you may be without service for a period of time.

What were you advised?

I was told today 6th July phone works on my I'd number but my previous carrier disconnected this morning so I was assuming it would be seamless maybe I am jumping the gun but hope it comes on soon with ported number otherwise I am going to have to inform all my contacts of a change of number which is not something I am relishing!!!

Okay @Pistyll, the message from iD usually tells you when iD expect to complete the port.

When I joined iD, the alert said my port would take place between 8am and 10pm.
On the day my number ported, I couldn’t to use my phone for about 5 hours - sadly number ports are not a seamless process.

If iD run into problems with your number port, it could take up to 10pm. 

I’d recommend leaving your phone OFF, just check every 45 minutes, to see if the port has completed. Leave the phone OFF between checks.
