Question

Bill has increaded on second month...

When i took the contract out, the total per month was £31.99 for everything, insurance the phone everything, even set a cap…

Paid my first month at the price above..

Second bll comes round… and its now not £31.99 its now £45.67

It appears theres added tax on the second bill, there was tax on the first bill too so im confused as to how my bill has bumped up, this was NOT the price set out in the contract originally, there is no phone number to speak to a human at ID Mobile, so what do I do here?

Okay @AHawes82, there’s no telephone support with iD - it’s 100% online.

Get real-time assistance with your iD account and any billing issues using the online chat service at https://idmobile.co.uk/live-chat.

The online chat team work between 9am - 6pm at weekends (and 9am - 8pm on weekdays).

If you can’t use iD online chat, just send a private request for assistance to iD Mobile’s social media team on facebook (using Messenger) or Twitter (by Direct Message).

Any private messages on social media, left out-of-hours, get picked-up when the social media team next start work.

Hello @AHawes82,

It sounds like you may have changed your payment date.

If you change your payment date, you would incur a slightly or larger bill depending on your bill date at the time, next bill date, requested payment date.

As we need to move your bill date so that it falls in line with your payment date you requested.

This is advised at the time of the change being made.

As for the Tax you’re referring to, your line rental price agreed to will be what we charge. This price you agreed to at the point of sale is inclusive of all tax.

You said £31.99 so this will be the agreed price.

Due to billing requirements, we breakdown bills with the price first without tax and add this on after.

The total would still be £31.99.

If you view your first bill, you will see this to be the case.

If you did not change your payment date, or haven’t got an answer yet via Facebook, please let us know.
