Did you do something with your phone that wasn’t included in your iD plan’s call, text and data allowances @Jasothomso?

For example: sent a premium rate text message, called directory enquiries, called an overseas number, sent an MMS message.

Anyway, take a look at the itemised section of the bill covering the month when you got charged more than expected.

Nope. As I say in my question it was the actual monthly contract price that changed

Ah well, sounds like a billing error if you’ve checked the bill in question and disagree with iD.

Good luck getting this resolved @Jasothomso

Hello @Jasothomso,

Sounds like you either had out of plan usage, purchased an add-on, recently upgraded so received a pro rata billing charge or you changed your payment date.

All of these factors can cause an increase in line rental or your normal bill.

If you view the PDF bill it should give a full breakdown.

Check the period of line rental you were charged for.

Changes to your payment date causes a larger than normal bill as we have to move your billing date and that causes for more line rental as we delay your bill.
