Charged for MMS messages

Why have you charged me for 2 multimedia messages that where sent using WiFi because I don't have any signal to use my phone or mobile data? 1 of the multimedia messages wasn't sent but you charged me for it?

Day light robbery.

MMS Messages are not included in your allowance.

These carry a 30p charge per MMS message.

I’d recommend setting your spend cap to £0.00 to avoid any unwanted charges.

Ensure mobile data is turned off on the phone.

The MMS was not sent but I was charged for it? My mobile data was turned off and I have to use WiFi because of the bad reception in my area. ID Mobile are charging me for 1 MMS that wasn't sent.

I will be changing my service provider because this company is useless.

SMARTY Mobile don’t charge customers for sending an MMS - on their network MMS messages are completely free with all SMARTY plans.

Hey @Toffee1963,

It’s possible the MMS was sent when your device regained connection.

We would only bill you for usage that’s been incurred from the device as we would not have been able to make a connection otherwise.

You should find the data and time it was sent on your latest bill with that usage period.
