Nope, iD Mobile don’t do a roaming package for the USA @ianlowe58

When I visited the USA recently, I bought a cheap data only eSIM to use in the USA - it worked great.

FYI, the iD roaming charges for the USA are:

Do you recall the details of the e-sim you purchased. ie. data quantity, company, price etc.

Did you purchase it before travelling or on arrival.

I think I used Soracom Mobile, because I travelled in both the USA and Australia, which were both covered by the package I chose.

Hey @ianlowe58  just adding to this, just make sure to take out the iD SIM or cap this at £0.00 and turn OFF Roaming in the phone settings.

I have seem some users use an eSIM and then forget to configure it correctly, thus incurred charges on their iD contract before it switched to the eSIM.

You can't  cap at £0 the leased you can do is £5.

Hi @ianlowe58,

If you have already used some of your cap you won’t be able to set it to £0.

You should be able to change it to £0 once you’ve paid the amount used.

It definitely will not set to £0 I have tried it several times in the past even when I have used nothing of the cap.

Hi @ianlowe58

Are you on the iD Mobile app or website? Please try the other if just one?

There shouldn’t be anything stopping you from capping the bill at £0.
