Changing your phone number


Hi everyone! So I recently joined ID Mobile and did the PAC request to change my phone over however when calling out or text messaging it uses my new ID Mobile number despite not being an active number? On the other hand people can call me using my original phone number that I’ve transferred over.

 

Any advice?

What date was your number due to transfer over?

 

Have you tried the above suggestion of resetting network settings?

 

For iPhone;

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

 

For Android;

Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth

 

Resetting network settings will NOT reset any personal data (Photos, Videos, Contacts etc) only network settings.

The advice probably depends upon the handset make and model you’ve got, @rhiannonlouise_99.
