I have taken delivery of a ID mobile sim card to use in my car charger, rather than a mobile phone. I’m trying to set up the app and get to the part that a code has been sent to my new ID mobile number via text. But I don’t have the card in a phone so can’t receive the text - how do I get round this? Thanks

In order to receive the code please insert the SIM into a handset.
Codes need to be sent to the SIM for verification and security reasons.

Just to let you know, iD Mobile only support use of their SIM cards in mobile phones.

Many thanks for your responses. 👍 Always a learning curve! I did end up putting the SIM into a phone just to get the code. I’ve since had the SIM put in the car charging unit and I’m pleased to report that it works 😀
