Wi Fi hotspot not working with iD?

Hi, since joining ID Mobile both mine(iPhone 15) and my wife’s (iPhone SE) iPhones can no longer tether to our IPads. I

What are we missing? Is tethering not possible with iD ?

I had the same issue and reached out to Customer Service on Live Chat. We tried many options including reseting the mobile network and tethering via bluetooth. The agent requested that I go to the nearest Currys shop for help.

Not giving up, I started fiddling with the settings. I changed my security settings from WPA3-Personal to WPA2/WPA3-Personal on my Google Pixel 8 phone. Now I’ve been able to tether from my ID mobile phone to my laptop. Hope this works for others with the same issue.

    I have the same problem, arrived in France yesterday no internet while sharing hotspot, it’s hopeless

    Are you unable to connect to any device at all or is it just your iPads?

    @Lana Morgan were you able to hotspot whilst in the UK?

    Same issue here. Calls Data is working while in Poland but it does not work while Tethering to other devices. Laptops phones etc. Tested. I have also tested 5 different network operators in advanced settings.

     

    Tethering does work while in UK but not aboard anymore.
