My ID sim has not arrived - as usual, you can’t seem to get through to ID support.

Can I just get one from Currys? But how does ID mobile know that is then linked to my account? Am I being thick?

Okay @Joel Hughes, you can get a replacement from Currys.

This will then need to be activated online, at which point it’s linked to your account.

FYI, today iD Mobile are affected by an apparently widespread IT problem.

Thanks!

So, I already have one plan in my account (mine).

This other account is for my son. We are trying also to port his number from Sky (we have a PAC code).

Does that affect what you suggest at all, please?

Okay @Joel Hughes, I’m not sure.

If you’ve got the mobile number iD allocated for your son’s new connection to the iD network, then you’ll be able to get a replacement and activate this online.

If you haven’t got the iD mobile number for your son, you’ll need to speak iD customer service.

Try https://idmobile.co.uk/live-chat - advisers work until 8pm on weekdays (6pm at weekends).

Hi @Joel Hughes

A transfer would not interfere with a SIM card replacement.

If you’re activating the replacement before transferring a number, you’d need to use the number we give you when activating.
