dreadful signal


My signal is dreadful, freezes or doesn’t connect

Please try a Manual Roam @Mancman, which resets your connection to our network, and can help with intermittent network problems. here are the steps:

 iPhone

Hide content

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap Mobile Service’.

  3. Tap ‘Network Selection'.

  4. Turn off the ‘Automatic toggle’.

  5. Choose a different network (Vodafone, EE or O2 - UK).

  6. Wait for 1 minute.

  7. Switch the automatic toggle back on.

 

Samsung Galaxy

Hide content

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap 'Connections'.

  3. Tap ‘Mobile Networks’.

  4. Tap ‘Network Operators’.

  5. Turn off the ‘Select Automatically’ toggle.

  6. Choose a different network (Vodafone, EE or O2 - UK).

  7. Wait 1 minute.

  8. Tap ‘Network Operators’.

  9. Choose ‘iD Mobile’.

 

Most other Android phones

Hide content

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap ‘Network & Internet’.

  3. Tap ‘Internet’.

  4. Tap the settings cog.

  5. Scroll down and turn off the ‘Automatically select network’ toggle.

  6. Tap ‘Choose Network’.

  7. Choose a different network (Vodafone, EE or O2 - UK).

  8. Wait 1 minute.

  9. Tap ‘Choose Network’

  10. Choose ‘iD Mobile’.

Have you tried some basic troubleshooting steps, such as turning your phone off and on again. If you’re still experiencing issues let me know.

Tried everything I could think of, my partner who is in EE has no problem getting a signal. This problem is only recent, up to 6 months ago I seldom had any issues. What do you suggest now?

It’s dreadful no matter where you are, and to be honest, in my experience they don’t care. They just want your money, even when you tell them you can’t get a signal where they say they’ve got exception coverage
