How do i get an e-SIM? I've got stuck in a loop with the chat bot.

I just want an e-SIM. It should be simple. The instructions say Live Chat can issue one. Love Chat says I need to talk to an agent, click here. Nothing happens. Has anyone managed to get out of this doom loop?

To get an eSIM, we’d certainly recommend talking to our live-chat agents.

 

As kindly advised by @andewhite , you’ll need to ask for an agent, so please try the following:

 

1) Type "Hi"

2) Type your issue in brief

3) Type "Speak to an agent"

4) Click on "Customer Service" from the options provided

5) Type your full name

6) Type your mobile number

Have you tried telling the helpful 24/7 iD chatbot you need to “talk to a person” a few times, @Sane Jane

Is you ROAMING turned ON in your iD account, ​@Debhura?

Have you tried manually connecting to other networks for a few minutes while in the US?

 

Are you sure you haven’t already exhausted your bill cap?
