Phone won't connect

Sometimes a phone call won’t connect. There is silence rather than a ringtone but the seconds counter works and then the call cuts out after 20 seconds.

Phone is Samsung A34. My wife's is identical and this morning hers  connected to Curry’s when mine wouldn’t when ringing the same number.

Hi @Geoffers3040, are you experiencing issues with just calls, or are you having issues with texts/data also?

Is your wife also on iD Mobile, or a different network?

How long has this been an issue for that you’ve noticed?

Hi Lauren,

Problem is just with phone calls as far as I am aware. Not sure for how long, I ignored it initially as a freak glitch, maybe weeks and getting worse.

My wife is also on ID and has not had exactly the same problem. But she did get almost the reverse today. She was trying to accept a call (twice) and just got silence until it cut off. The caller then texted to say he had rung twice and seemed to be connected but could not hear her.

I have same issue been intermittent but today just stopped working I have a 4 month old iPhone 15 iOS 18

I carried out all things on the site suggested and tried to get someone to talk in chat but that kept cutting off too!!  Kicking me out even after I have all my details they never got back in touch  

i live in a city so definitely an issue with id mobile my kids phones still working 

I can use WhatsApp on mobile data and WiFi just normal calls

Hi there @Laura Cameron 101, please turn of iMessage, restart your phone and then try make a call.

 

Also, please ensure your number is correct in settings. 

 

Please also try manually connecting to 4G/4G Volte.
