applied for 2 sims but only got one £30 giftcard


I applied for a SIM for my phone, then 2 weeks later applied for another one for my wife, but I've only received one £30 gift card!

I've emailed the company dealing with the gift cards but getting nowhere, any ideas?

Hi all, just to let you know that we have finally got the £30 gift card for my wife's mobile. Thank you to all who responded with advice, it just takes a bit of perseverance.

I was quite happy with iD mobile, but with the total lack of help or interest from them I think I'll take our money elsewhere.

Did you use the same details when applying for a SIM only deal for your spouse, @markbenfleet

Perhaps the voucher offer was redeemable only once per customer application.

I did use the same email address, but all the other details were my wife's, if I'm not eligible because of that then my business will be going somewhere where it's appreciated.

Hi Tyler,

It was offered by yourselves but I've just read the small print and it says only 'one per person', which is extremely annoying, as the sim wasn't for me, I just ordered it on behalf of my wife as she prefers me to deal with all the bills etc.

Unfortunately if you have already benefited from the promotion you won’t be able to qualify for another voucher if these are the terms of the promotion.

Hi Kash,

I've put on here the 2 screenshots of my purchase in my name on 9th June, and 2 screenshots in my wife's name (Janette) from 25th June. As I said before, my wife's application was all in her name apart from my email address.

Well I gotta agree with Mark on this one.

Both emails, although the 3rd screenshot doesn’t exactly show the £30 deal, appear to have the ‘lock in’ icon/logo with the ‘for the following offer’ text.

So at THAT time Mark would have rightly assumed both qualified for the offer.

So to confirm, how many contracts did you order, and how many were in your name, and your Wife’s name, just to double check?

Hi Tyler,

I ordered 2 Sims 16 days apart, one in my name and the other in my wife's. I put my email address down as I was dealing with the purchase, and payments for both Sims come out of my bank account.

I'd see if you can get clearer wording for both emails (showing the deal), screenshot those and attach them. I still stand by what I said earlier.
