PAC not carried over

So My number should have transferred a couple of days ago. The agent sorted this out for me, prior to receiving my phone.

I think something has been actioned as when I request a new PAC code O2 tells me there is a problem and cannot provide one. My old number is still active.

Sadly customer service is saturated and the AI is of no use.

Is there anything I can try (other than restarts) until I turn to CS? It’s frustrating that I need two phones for text mssgs!

When did you place the order for the phone, was it during any of these dates?

Order placed Day of delivery
Monday 23rd December before 8pm Tuesday 24th December
Tuesday 24th December before 8pm Friday 27th December
Wednesday 25th December before 8pm
Thursday 26th December before 4pm
Friday 27th December before 8pm Tuesday 31st December
Saturday 28th December before 8pm
Sunday 29th December before 8pm
Monday 30th December before 8pm

Because if it was during any of those dates above then this comes in to play

Give us your PAC or STAC by Switching Date
  Friday 27th December
Monday 23rd December before 5:30pm
Tuesday 24th December before 5:30pm Monday 30th December
Wednesday 25th December before 5:30pm
Thursday 26th December before 5:30pm
Friday 27th December before 5:30pm
Saturday 28th December before 5:30pm Thursday 2nd January
Sunday 29th December before 5:30pm
Monday 30th December before 5:30pm

This may explain why the old SIM shows the number as active (though some networks can still show the old SIM as active even 24 hours after the service terminated and this is nothing to do with Christmas etc)

Hi @Olly King,

Welcome to the Community!

Have you tried restarting the handset and checking the port?

If the port hasn’t completed on the day it should have we can PM you here or you can contact our Live Chat Team.

Just to advise ports don’t take place over weekends or bank holidays.

Kash

No worries Olly.

Just sit tight, it should be sorted when they’ve cleared all the Christmas pudding off their keyboards, handed back lost items of clothing, cleaned the bum cheeks smudges off the printer, things like that!
